Dr. Stan Ho
Dr. Stan Ho is the Chief Executive Officer for Lianhe Global.
Stan has been an experienced investment banking and credit rating expert, with equity capital market and corporate finance experience in Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns, where he worked on IPO, ADR listing and convertible bond offering for Non-Japan Asian issuers. Stan also worked as the Head of Non-Japan Asia structured finance group at Fitch Ratings, where he covered securitisation, covered bonds and REIT corporate rating for Non-Japan Asian issuers.
Stan is currently the Human Capital Committee Member of Financial Services Development Council of Hong Kong (FSDC), and Green Bond Technical Committee Member of Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA).
Stan graduated with BBA in Information Systems at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, MBA from University of Cambridge, and DBA from City University of Hong Kong.
Ms. Joyce Chi
Joyce Chi is the Head of Business Development at Lianhe Global based in Hong Kong. She is responsible for the commercial development and client relationship management at Lianhe Global covering all sectors.
Prior to joining Lianhe Global in 2018, she was an executive director at China Great Wall AMC (International) focused on leveraged finance investments. Before that, Joyce spent about 7 years with Fitch Ratings based in Hong Kong as Senior Director and Head of the North Asia Corporates and Public Finance (Local Government Financial Vehicles or LGFVs) Business Origination team where she led the business origination team based in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Seoul developing new business and managing existing client relationships. Her team achieved significant revenues and market shares growth vs the competitors and won multiple industry awards from 2015 to 2017 in the Asia Pacific region, greatly enhancing the visibility and influence of Fitch with a broad cross section of market participants including issuers, bankers, investors and media.
Before joining Fitch Ratings, Joyce worked in the Investment Banking and Capital Markets Divisions of leading investment banks such as Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, and Barclays Capital for about 10 years, during which she originated and executed a diverse range of debt/equity capital markets and M&A transactions in Greater China and across the Asia Pacific Region. She has also worked in the private banking industry covering high net worth clients at Credit Suisse.
Joyce obtained her undergraduate degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Alex Kung
Alex Kung is Head of Corporates at Lianhe Global. Alex is responsible for the analytical aspects at Lianhe Global covering property developers and general corporates in the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining Lianhe Global, he was a Senior Director at Dagong HK’s rating group focused on rating corporate entities in the greater China region. While at Dagong HK, Alex conducted both public and private ratings on Chinese property developers (such as Jiayuan International), logistics companies, airlines, airport, commodity trading entities, chemical manufacturers (such as Zhejiang Hengyi Group), and government-related entities, as well as Panda Bonds.
Prior to joining Dagong HK in 2014, Alex was a Senior Director at Fitch Ratings in New York. Alex has over 13 years of experience in structured finance arena. Prior to Fitch, Alex spent 8 years at a monoline insurer, Ambac Assurance Corp’s Consumer Asset-Backed Securities Department within its Structured Finance Division, where he focused on underwriting financial guaranty on asset-backed securities. Alex also worked at Chase Manhattan Bank and Lehman Brothers.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, USA. He also holds a Master Degree in Financial Analysis from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology’s business school.
Ms. Joyce Huang
Joyce Huang is Head of LGFVs and Financial Institutions at Lianhe Global. She is responsible for the analytical aspects at Lianhe Global covering LGFVs, banks, non-bank financial institutions, and insurance companies in the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining Lianhe Global, she spent 13 years with Fitch Ratings based in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Joyce was a Director of Financial Institutions and Insurance at Fitch Ratings and was responsible for credit analysis of banks, non-bank financial institutions and insurance companies in the Asia Pacific region, primarily China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. In addition to providing issuer-specific research, she published sector commentaries on a regular basis.
Joyce was an equity analyst at Taiwan Securities Investment Advisory before joining Fitch Ratings and has experience working in financial institutions, including the largest life insurance company in Taiwan – Cathay Life, and CTBC Bank.
Joyce holds a MA in Financial Management from National Sun Yat-Sen University and a BBA in Statistics from National Cheng Kung University. She is a CFA charter holder and has been designated a Fellow, Life Management Institute, with distinction.
