HONG KONG, 18 September 2026 – Lianhe Ratings Global Limited (“Lianhe Global”), an international credit rating company, has assigned ‘A’ global scale Long-term Issuer Credit Ratings to Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. (“SMFG”) and its subsidiary bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (“SMBC”). The Issuer Rating Outlook is Stable.
